Digital edition license

1. What you may do

When you buy a DREAO digital edition, EDLU S.R.L.S. grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the file for your private, non-commercial use, with no time limit.

You may:

  • print the work, as many times as you like, to display in your own home or other private spaces;
  • print it at home, through an online printing service or at a print shop, sending them the file only to print your own copies;
  • keep backup copies of the file for yourself;
  • share photos of your framed print in your home on your personal social media.

2. What you may not do

Unless we agree otherwise in writing, you may not:

  • resell, give away, lend or rent the file, or prints made from it;
  • share the file or the download link, upload it to websites, cloud folders open to others, marketplaces or file-sharing services;
  • use the work on merchandise or products (clothing, mugs, posters, cards and similar), whether sold or given away;
  • display prints in commercial or public spaces such as shops, offices open to the public, hotels, restaurants, cafés or rentals, or use the work in advertising, branding or for any commercial purpose;
  • edit the work to pass it off as your own, combine it into other works for distribution, or create NFTs from it;
  • use the files or the work to train or fine-tune artificial intelligence or machine-learning systems.

3. Business license

A license for professional use (offices, shops, hospitality, rentals) is coming. If you need one now, write to us at hello@dreao.com.

4. Ownership

Buying a file gives you a license to use it, not ownership of the work. All rights in the works, including copyright under Italian Law 633/1941, remain with EDLU S.R.L.S..

You do not need to credit DREAO on your prints. If you share your wall online, we are always happy to be tagged.

5. If the license is broken

Use beyond this license infringes copyright. In that case the license ends automatically, we may disable your download links, and we reserve every legal remedy.
