The story

Morning has reached the room before anyone has thought to make the bed. Coffee, a croissant, fruit and a folded newspaper wait on the white linen. Beyond the open doors, bougainvillea frames a small terrace and a wide blue cove. The chairs outside are still empty. There is nowhere urgent to go, and the day seems happy to begin slowly.
